  1. Mon. Daniel 5:1-30 The Writing on the Wall
I this reading the king, his nobles, his wives, and others drank while worshiping gods of possessions. A mysterious hand automatically wrote on the wall and the king was terrified and called for Daniel. Daniel interpreted the writing and the very night Daniel was rewarded the king was slain. He would want everyone to live for Him, so He would judge the society who knows Him, but does not tell anyone about Him.

  2. Tues. Daniel 6:1-28 Daniel and the Lions
In this reading some men were mad at Daniel and had a rule forced that said that only the king was to be worshiped for the next thirty days. Daniel broke this law and the king wanted to rescue Daniel, but a law was a law and who broke it had to go into the lion's den. Daniel survived the lion's den with God's help and prospered. I pray every single day at least once or twice. I make sue to pray to my Lord and savior whenever I'm down, nervous, or need help.

  3. Wed. Jonah 1:1-2:10 Bending God’s Directions
In this reading Jonah flees from the Lord and sails away, but He sent a great wind which made the sea ruff. He told the sailors to throw him overboard and the seas will calm so the eventually did so and Jonah was swallowed by a huge fish. Jonah prayed heavily to God from inside the fish and accepted Him into his heart. I avoided doing my homework for awhile, but I pulled through and got it all done in time.

  4. Thurs. Jonah 3:1-4:11 Wrong Motives
In this reading Jonah obeyed the Lord and went to Nineveh where everyone was being covered with sackcloth because of Jonah's warning. God saw what they were doing and let the nation not perish. Jonah told the Lord that it was better for him to be dead because he was angry. I complain that people can be so unGodly, but make it look like they're so sweet. I don't like when anyone can get they're way and still "know" Christ.

  5. Fri. Luke 1:1-4 and John 1:1-18 Beginnings
In this reading God is the reason for everything because without Him no body would be here. The light of the world is when God's son was born of God. No body has seen God, but God's son has made God known to everyone. Yes, I have personally received Jesus as my Lord and savior in my life forever. I actually feel closer to Him the more I grow up and feel more mature in everything I do and say.
