Wed. 1 Kings 17: 1-24 God Takes Care of Elijah
How do obeying and trusting God go together in your life?
The word of the Lord came to Elijah and he did what the Lord told him to do, but the brook dried up from the lack of rain in the land. The Lord came to him again and said a widow would have food by the gate, but she did not have anything, but a jar of flour and a little olive oil. Elijah told her to go home and make him a loaf of bread with what she has, so she did so. The widow's son had become ill and Elijah told her to give him to him, and the Lord surely gave the boy back his life. Obeying and trusting God go together in life because if anyone doesn't do both of them then they can't go to heaven.
