Fri. Nehemiah 5:1-19 Nehemiah's Concern for the Poor
How do you help the poor?
In this reading all the people were telling Nehemiah their problems, charges, and hardships which made Nehemiah angry. Nehemiah stood up for them and got the people to give everything back and promise too. Nehemiah had done a good thing and rejected all food for himself that it would go to feed those people, he asked God to remember him for this act. I help the poor by fellowshipping with them and giving the clothes and things they need because they need it more than I do.
