3Q Week 1 Monday Bible Reading

Mon. 1 Samuel 25: 1-42 
How does God keep you from making big mistakes?         
             
                This Bible reading was about David, Nabal, and Abigail. After Samuel died and David was in the wilderness he sent ten young men to greet Nabal and give him a message in his name. When his men got back empty-handed David set out with four hundred men while two hundred stayed with the supplies. Abigail met David with a lot of food and did not tell her husband, Nabal. Nabal died ten days after Abigail told him what she did for David. David made Abigail his wife after he found out that Nabal had died. The Lord keeps me from making big mistakes by putting the thing in my head so I can think about it before I do it.
