What kinds of things could be considered “occult practices”?
How would God feel about your involvement in such things?
In this reading after Samuel died Saul had stopped all mediums and spiritists in Israel. Saul set out for a woman who was a medium so he could inquire her. The woman was told to bring Samuel up and as soon as she did Saul asked Samuel why the Philistines were against him. Samuel gave him a whole lecture on why the Lord has done this. After Samuel told Saul this, he refused to even eat. Some things that can be considered occult practices are believing that magic is everything and that anyone can be truly magical and bring people back to life. God doesn't like when we believe in anything other than Him and His teachings.
